Honda officially introduces the Honda Wave125i 2017 in Malasian market, with 3 colors available (Candy Scintillate Red, Pearl Nightfall Blue and Sword Silver Metallic).
Its design is similar to Future Fi in VN. What’s new in this underbone is the tail light & the rear turn signal light are integrated into one block. Storage space under the seat is a generous 18-litres, sufficient to swallow a full-face helmet. Fuel is carried under the seat in a 5.4-litre tank (the largest in the segment).
In Malaysian market, Honda Wave125i 2017 has 2 versions:
– Front disc-brakes, rear drum-brakes (starting price: 6,263 RM_equivalent to 32.7mil VND)
– Disc-brakes on both wheels (starting price: 6,549 RM_equivalent to 34.2mil VND)
Powered by a single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled 124.9 cc power plant, the Wave 125i is fed by Honda’s PGM-Fi. Producing 9 hp at 7,500 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, power for the Wave 125i gets to the ground via a four-speed centrifugal clutch automatic gearbox, with chain final drive.
Purchasers of the 2017 Honda Wave 125i will enjoy a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty, whichever comes first.
