Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, Yamaha still decided to hold a press conference on the afternoon of March 18 to make plan in 2020 while coronavirus epidemic is quite complicated.
On March 18th 2020 afternoon, at a luxury hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Yamaha Vietnam held a press conference to bring more information as well as plans that the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer will do in Vietnam in 2020. The press conference occurred in the context of District 1 straining to deal with the corona epidemic.
New campaign “New Me, Discover – Discover specific characters” announced by Yamaha with the highlights are two female brand ambassadors, Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc for Yamaha Grande and Chipu for Yamaha Janus.
An interesting information that Yamaha Vietnam made at this press conference is that there will be 3 brand-new models will be released in Vietnam market in 2020. Two of these will be for men only and the other for all customers.
Yamaha announced the launch of 3 new models, which made people wonder that is Yamaha Exciter new generation. This model is expected to launch in Vietnam more than a year ago with the engine upgraded to 155cc but there has been no step so far.
Also in 2020, Yamaha Motor Vietnam will co-operate with Vietnam Cycling Federation (also called Vietnam Motorcycle and Bicycle Association) to organize Yamaha Motor GP 2020 race to bring an attractive playground for young people who are passionate about speed. In particular, in order to help them have the opportunity to experience and receive professional training, Yamaha Motor Vietnam also organizes a training program for basic racing skills trained by experts.
Yamaha Motor Vietnam will continue to sponsor and accompany the Monster Energy Yamaha team at the Moto GP 2020 tournament. The logo of the campaign “New Me, Discovery”, with Vietnamese flag will appear on the super model Yamaha’s “legendary” YZR-M1, which is also the model that Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales will drive at the event.
